Hoboken Revolt

The Hoboken Tax Reform Coalition

Governor Christie cancelled the tunnel project. NJ would have been liable for $2 billion dollars and any overruns. Of course any government project always has overruns like the "Big Dig" in
Mass.

NJ has enough bills to pay and is just about broke. We are already the highest taxed state in the union and high unemployment. We are also one of the worst states for corporations to settle their operations in NJ.

Little Bobby Menendez said "We now have a $600 million hole in the ground". That is the usual Democrat political nonsense. To him it would be better for NJ to go into debt for another 3 or 4 billions dollars. As Everett Dirksen said "A billion here and a billion there; and pretty soon you are talking about real money".

I have no idea when Lautenberg and Menendez will awaken to the fact that they have spent our children, grandchildren and great grandchildren into poverty.

Thank you Governor Christie for some much needed fiscal responsibility in NJ.
