I was excited when Hoboken Revolt first hit the scene. It was all about getting property taxes down. I attended a rally at city hall and voiced support whenever I could.
But to my consternation the group seems to have lost its way. We ought to be storming city hall with torches and pitchforks over the fact that the promised a 25% reduction in city taxes has instead turned into an increase. Yes, the mayor and council have limited powers under the fiscal monitor. But that is no excuse…
