I live on Madison Street between 1st and 2nd street and was hoping we could meet some time soon. Two things that have spurred me to contact you today are the following:

1) I noticed that my street had three new cuts in patches in the ashfault on or about 8/18/09. I can tell this becacuse there is loose ashfault all over the street and the patch work is very noticable when driving over it because the seems to the patch are not that smooth. 2 of the three patches also cuts into the newly painted bike lanes so those parts of the lanes have been erased.

2) The 2nd issue is that the Bar Northern lights on 1st street has an extreem amounts of ciggarette butts out side it and I noticed the Hobken public works garbage guy sweeping up the Bars mess. To me the bar should clean up it's patron's mess or be ticketed and the Public works guy should be smart enough to report this not just clean up what ever is in their path.
