Not my job to go through the budgets line by line. I trust in my elected officials to do this for me which is why I vote instead of serve on the board of ed. But personally, fire almost all of your administration and hire new ones at a much lower salary. Stop spending overbid contracts. Sorry but Hoboken schools aren't that great to begin with but yet we spend alot for a so-so education. Spending more $$ isn't going to fix the schools. it will only fatten wallets that are already fat enough. and my family used to be teachers so I'm empathetic to their plight. They are not the problems. its the administration that has run this place to the ground.

I hope Kids First can make some cuts that they deem apropriate but keep cutting. you're not done yet.

Zimmer needs to start making some cuts of her own. My tax bill is still pegged 47% higher. Start cutting.
Don't hold your breath on this one!

Congrats to KF. They obviously have just as strong of an organization as they had one year ago, which is no small accomplishment.

No matter who one voted for, the campaign posturing should end immediately, as it is important that everyone now work together for the betterment of Hoboken. With sweeps in the past two elections, I expect Kids First to hit the ground running and deliver strong results over the next year. I look forward to seeing what they are capable of.
