Federal Education Project Facts and Data - Get the facts, they are incredibly important

Get the facts and help this community, the Board of Education, and others deal with our issues honestly. Most people don't want our children or community responsibilities neglected (me included), but most people also don't want to be driven out of town by tax burdens that are clearly far outside of any norms we can demonstrate with facts.

Spend some time at this website, they have great data and make it easy to access. The numbers are shocking how far out of wack this BOE is when it comes to educating students. The numbers are a bit out of date, but show Hoboken as #3 out of 551 districts in NJ, and NJ as being #1 out of the entire country, in costs per pupil.

$15,000 more per student than the statewide average.
4 principles, 3 schools.
More staff now than when the headcount was much higher.
Budgets limited by law that are overspent.

These are all facts, they show that something is seriously wrong, and we're paying for it each day.
