Hoboken Revolt's Statement to the Hoboken City Council on February 3rd
Demanding Individual Responses to the findings in the Police Audit.

Hoboken Revolt sent an email to all of you last week, asking your positions on the findings of the Police audit.  We have received responses only from Councilmen Lenz, Mello and Balla. Nonetheless, not one council member has offered any specific plan on how to implement the recommendations in the audit.  We will not accept the excuse that the council does not have authority to act.

You were elected on a pledge of fiscal austerity, transparency, responsible government and lower taxes.  Do you have the courage to make good on your promise to the people who elected you and take action now, given this momentous opportunity to reverse a decade of out of control spending and put  Hoboken on the path to fiscal responsibility and lower taxes?

We ask you each of you to state what your specific individual recommendations are for the implementation of the findings of the police audit RIGHT NOW.

Thank you. Click Here to Read the Responses From The Council.

Fighting to ensure fiscal responsibility in Hoboken government and the fair allocation of property taxes among all property owners.

SIGN THE PETITION: UPCOMING MUNICIPAL CONTRACT NEGOTIATIONS!

While many residents of Hoboken who work in the private sector are losing their jobs, taking pay cuts or, at best, experiencing salary freezes, labor agreements being negotiated with Hoboken municipal workers reflect very generous salary increases and benefit packages that will further drive up our taxes. Learn more and sign the petition.
